For a Ghost-Free Time, Call
Season One: Episodes 1-5
Available now!

For a Ghost-Free Time, Call is an episodic, supernatural adventure set in the emerald city of Eugene, Oregon, which follows a young man who, since he was a boy, has had the irritating ability to see ghosts all around him. In spite of this so-called “gift,” he found a way to cope and a few less-than-legitimate ways to make a little money on the side. But a con that started out as a way to make a quick buck will soon become a terrifying reality check about the world he thought he understood…

“Eugene is teeming with ghosts and for some stupid, God damn reason, I’m the only one who can see them.”

The Drive Home

A Tale of Bromance and Horror

For the first time since he was fourteen, Benjamin Keller is unemployed, relatively happy, and ready to pursue his new path as a writer. Ben embarks on an impromptu road trip to Washington to visit his ill father, ready to take advantage of the opportunity and write about his experiences along the way.

Ben's impulsive—and quite often irritating—best friend, Taylor, quickly invites himself along, hoping for all the traditional road trip mischief to ensue. Unbeknownst to the traveling companions, a grisly trail of bodies begins to pile up, following them through the Pacific Northwest from Grants Pass to Spokane.

Dustin Taylor's debut novel, Catalyst, is an examination of life through the eyes of Michael Wise, a twenty-something college dropout who has found himself in a terrifyingly dark place as he coasts through each day with no real motivation to make it to the next.

A leap of faith and a plane ticket take him abroad where he finds inspiration and rediscovers passion, thanks, in part, to the people who cross his path.

Untitled Short Story Collection

In the spirit of what Emerald Inkwell is all about, we've decided to put together a collection of short stories, and potentially even some poetry, written by writers who share our passion for the Pacific Northwest.

With the to-be-named anthology, we want to give readers the opportunity to read the words of talented writers who they may not have come across before.

Stay tuned for the title and cover reveal!
